When registering paternity a concrete person is recognized as a child’s father, thereby giving rise to a child’s rights and responsibilities towards the father. A child, whose descent is established by the consent of both parents or by a court decision, enjoys similar rights towards parents and relatives as a child of a married couple. To register established paternity, please, apply to any branch of the Public Service Development Agency or Public Service Hall.
