Establishment of project management methodology on the Agency level

 

Upon a decision of the Agency management, a monitoring system of project management methodology and project portfolio is being created enabling the organization to register and manage projects conducive to the development of Agency in a centralized manner, to ensure transparent reporting on the progress. The project is being implemented on the initiative of the department and involves structural units of the Agency. The project is led by an invited expert.

 

Main objective: 

 

  • To develop standards of project management cycle in the Public Development Agency;
  • To develop management methodology of project portfolio of the Public Development Agency;
  • To develop monitoring methodology of project portfolio of Public Development Agency.

To establish a concrete project management cycle with corresponding patterns and templates. Also, to adapt them to Agency needs (in Georgian language):

 

  • Project Charter;
  • Scope of project and product;
  • WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) & WBS Dictionary – with the help of MindManager;
  • Project Network Diagram – with the help of MS Project;
  • Project Schedule– with the help of MS Project;
  • Project Budget – MS Excel.
  • Risk management plan (RMP).

 

Dates of implementation

 

  • Commencement date of project: 02.02.2015
  • Preparation of documentation: 12.2015;
  • Launch of the process in testing regime, identification and elimination of flaws: 30.10.2015;
  • Approval of process and launching it into operational regime: 2015.
