With the opening of the new community center in Ninotsminda, an era of Soviet-style infrastructure for the territorial offices of the Ministry of Justice has come to an end and in its place a building that meets modern European standards has emerged. This new facility will provide the population with more than 200 various public and private services in a comfortable environment.
An applicant will be able to obtain a passport, identity card, register property, obtain a cadastral plan, and so on, in a single-window process.
The services provided by the National Tourism Administration and the Rural and Agricultural Development Agency have been available at the Ninotsminda Community Center since its establishment. These services are provided within the framework of the government’s program “The State – Your Partner”, which aims to stimulate entrepreneurship and farm development.
At the Ninotsminda Community Center, citizens have access to the services offered by “Magti” and “Liberty Bank”. Free Wi-Fi access, as well as a Skype room, is available to all.
The newly opened community center features a library equipped with the latest technology, which houses both printed publications and electronic books. The combination of a printed and digital library, as well as free internet access, allows adults and young people to acquire knowledge through modern learning methods.
To encourage civic engagement among the local population, the center provides a conference room equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that facilitates educational and training meetings, presentations, and remote learning sessions.
This year, construction of community centers has been actively underway, funded by state allocations. In 2020, community centers were established in various regions of Georgia, including Chrebalo, Abasha, Khobi, Chiatura, Vani, Kharagauli, Chokhatauri, Dedoplistskaro and Aspindza.
The project for community centers is supported by the European Union.
