Fact of legal Significance

Civil status registration authority establishes the following facts of legal significance:  

• The fact of a person’s birth at certain time and under certain circumstances;
• The fact of a person’s death at certain time and under certain circumstances;
• The fact of a person’s birth registration;
• The fact of a person’s death registration.

Application may be filed at the Public Service Hall or any territorial office of the Public Service Development Agency. 

Terms and fees 

Decision on establishing or refusal to establish the fact of legal significance shall be made no later than within 1 month from filing of the relevant application. 

To establish essential circumstances of the case, the Public Service Development Agency shall be authorized to extend the term of review of the application for 1 month.   

Establishment of the fact of legal significance is free of charge.
