Geocell, in collaboration with the Public Service Development Agency, has already introduced electronic signature services for its subscribers across Georgia. Applicants will make their signatures on documents created in connection with the service, which will greatly save their time. All documents and procedures will be kept electronically and applicants will have easy access to them.
The presentation of related services for this innovative product took place on April 5 at the Geocell office, hosted by the Chairperson of the Public Service Development Agency – Giorgi Pataridze and the CEO of Geocell – Pavel Smalinsky.
“The Public Service Development Agency already offers services to support this innovative product (electronic signature), specifically an encryption certificate and timestamp, for those representatives of the private sector who focus on introducing modern technologies and providing convenient services for citizens. This service will allow companies to significantly reduce service times, which will be highly convenient for customers,” noted by Giorgi Pataridze – the Chairperson of the Public Service Development Agency.
This initiative is particularly significant from the perspective of environmental sustainability, as it aims to eliminate the use of paper. It should be noted that a significant amount of paper is utilized in the service sector, which has an adverse impact on the natural environment. Therefore, through the introduction of such innovative services, both the government and private companies, as well as their customers become contributors to global efforts to protect the planet.
