Adoption is a fact of legal significance registered by the Public Service Development Agency based on a court judgement.
Application for registration of adoption may be filed at the territorial office of the Public Service Development Agency or Public Service Hall.
Documents required for registration of adoption:
• Written application of an adoptive parent;
• Legally valid court judgement on adoption;
• Birth certificate of an adoptee;
• Identity document of an adoptive parent.
Terms and fees
Adoption shall be registered no later than the next working day from submission of the documents provided for by the law.
Adoption certificate is issued free of charge.
