The ongoing project of the Public Service Development Agency “Improvement of Voter Lists” aims to update citizens’ identification data, improve the quality of the databases of the Agency and provide accurate identification data of potential voters to the Central Election Commission.
In accordance with the current legislation, namely, the Election Code of Georgia, the Agency is obliged to provide requisite data to the Central Election Commission four times a year for formation of the voter list and as per request – during the period of election.
Within the framework of the project, electronic database of the Agency is filled with more accurate and complete identification data of the citizens and deceased citizens are proactively removed from the voter list.
