Electronic accreditation program for diplomats was initiated by the Public Service Development Agency for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. Georgia is one of the first countries to enable diplomats to go through accreditation electronically. The Agency also developed and processed relevant databases, introduced electronic workflow management software and developed cards of innovative design protected against forgery. The new cards enable identification of the holder, as well as provision of different services to diplomats, including, using tax benefit without producing additional documents.
