We would like to inform you that the deadlines for submitting applications for retention of Georgian citizenship, temporary right to restore Georgian citizenship, granting Georgian citizenship under special procedure and establishment of Georgian citizenship have been extended by two years.
Former Georgian nationals who have lost their Georgian citizenship due to acquiring citizenship of another country are eligible to apply for the restoration of their Georgian citizenship until December 31, 2024.
Georgian citizens who have not terminated their Georgian citizenship upon obtaining citizenship of another country are also entitled to apply for retention of their Georgian citizenship until December 31, 2024.
