The Public Service Development Agency welcomed citizens in Ambrolauri on the occasion of Independence Day

The Public Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice, with other LEPLs affiliated with the Ministry of Justice and the local community, celebrated Independence Day in Ambrolauri.

Visitors to the Agency’s pavilion were able to take photos on site, fill out passport data and receive a commemorative ID card. The simulated passport, together with a photo and personal information, contained information about the Agency’s innovative projects and interesting statistics on various topics related to Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.

Citizens who came to the event were also able to virtually travel to European cities through a virtual reality experience. A mockup of an electronic identity (ID) card was provided at the event space. Those wishing to write their first and last name in magnetic letters and take a memorable photo could do so.

As part of the event held in the city of Ambrolauri, a variety of entertainment and educational activities was presented throughout the day. These included a storytelling corner, puppet theatre performance, show of giant soap bubbles and other attractions designed for children.

At the time of   the declaration of independence of the First Republic of Georgia, as throughout Georgia, the anthems of the European Union and Georgia were performed in Ambrolauri.
